I love America because I can emulate Bob Dylan's description of a successful person. I can wake up in the morning and go to bed at night and in between do whatever I want to do. Once more I can hang my MEGA hat where the weather suits my clothes. If my mood runs Nordic there are the Rocky Mountain States. The Blustery coast of New England and the Changing of the Seasons in Vermont. Or, like a migrating salmon I can head Northwest for the windblown Puget Sound. On the other hand I can put on some Beach Boys. Go to California. Surf up a storm. Finally, If waking up in the morning and doing whatever I want to do is deciding to become the richest person on earth nothing’s in my way. That spirit of reaching for the stars is what is so amazing about America. It’s the magical magnet that makes America so loved. The envy of the world.
According to the Democrats is that to love America as a Republican I should work together with them to resolve our political differences. There is no compromising here because we have two insoluble ideologies. Marxism and our Constitution. Their aim is to overthrow our form of government. No secret. It’s on their Protest signs and spoken in the House of Representatives.
At the end of the day…The thing I love most about America is that America inspired a young Polish girl to leave her country and chase her dreams of leaving the communist oppression by coming to America. I was lucky enough to marry her and that is definitely what I love most about America!
(Above) In the 50s classmates of Reel Don Steele at San Francisco's George Washington High School included Lee Ann Meriwether (Miss American, Film and TV Star)and legendary Recording Artist Johnny Mathis. The San Francisco School Board voted 6-1 to change the name of George Washington High School along with Abraham Lincoln High School.
America is a melting pot of races. I am a 3rd Generation San Franciscan of French, Welch, Danish and Hispanic heritage. The mix of cultures elbow to elbow in the compact seven square miles of "The City" is one of charms I loved most about growing up in San Francisco. My classmates at George Washington High School were Greek, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, Hispanic plus a future Miss America / Actress Lee Meriwether and Johnny Mathis. But most important inside the Pot is the "Secret Sauce". It is the mix of multi-cultures that makes America Great. But now my high school is under attack by the City of San Francisco who want to change the name of my high school (George Washington) and paint over a Mural as part of the Democrats Cancel Culture drive. Then, this summer I was shocked to find I am being put on the defensive because of my race. I immediately rejected the Democrats notion that “White Privilege” requires my obligation to support their movements that I oppose. They identified me not for who I am, or what I stand for --but as a white person, pulled me "out of the melting pot" and shamed me for my race. I am raising Holy Hell about this. Not going to stand for it. I challenge anyone to find a NATIVE San Franciscan of my age (born 1935) and era including Jerry Brown and Nancy Pelosi's husband (both of who grew up with me in the same time in SF) to paint with "White Privilege" and call us Racist. Under their logic, Critical Race Theory if applied to teaching history of WWII would make white children that are Italian/American (like Nancy Peolosi's husband, Paul Pelosi)responsible for the Holocaust because Italy was an ally of Germany in WWII.

A collapse of Law and Order and High Taxes are causing those that have the wherewithal are leaving their homes in these American cities they loved for more accommodating states. This should never happen in America. The Pilgrims left England and came to America because they were marginalized. Now Americans are leaving their homes seeking freedom in their own country. Big Picture: The MAGA Forces need to flip the Congress in 2022 and secure a Victory in 2024.
Geronimo
History will clarify if Trump's election was "stolen" but within his life time the nation transformed Geronimo from Rebel to Celebrity. Today, a century later we look back at him as a moral compass as to how to react to injustice. Ironically he was born in Arizona where election proclivities are still simmering. Growing up he was an Apache. His tribe was surrounded and at war with Mexicans to the South, the U.S. government to the North and neighboring Comanche and Navajo tribes. While he was away on a trading trip in 1851, Mexican soldiers attacked his family’s camp. Geronimo’s wife, their three children and his mother were all murdered. He soon hunted down his family’s killers. In 1872, the U.S. government annexed Geronimo's land from Mexico and sent him to a Reservation where he broke out three separate tines over a decade.
The more often Geronimo escaped and the longer he was able to disappear, the more embarrassed the U.S. military and politicians grew. His belief that no bullets could harm him appeared to be true, as he continually escaped skirmishes. It took 25% of the American Army to finally capture him. His resoluteness struck the heart of the American public and although he died in prison, before his death he was released from time to time to participate in major public events including the inauguration of President Theodore Roosevelt.
In WW II our paratroopers bailed out of planes yelling out his name--and it will be forever invoked when going into a righteous battle. Looking ahead to the next two elections i cry out 'GERONIMO!"
I love the fight in Americans. With cities ablaze with protests the summer of 2020, a couple armed themselves with weapons to protect their home from a threatening Democrat mob that were terrorizing their St Louis neighborhood. No wonder the rioters were able to run roughshod through their community unimpeded. The last time they had a Republican Mayor in St. Louis was 1945. They were lucky. The couples’ weapons were confiscated and arrested. The husband hopes to turn things around and is now running for office. The blame for the Big City Chaos in most of the major cities is the Democrat Party. Seattle is 84% registered Democratic with 60 years of rule. Portland is 71% Democrat. Chicago had 14 candidates for Mayor. Not a Republican to contest Mayor Lightfoot. San Francisco is voting 85% Democrat. Their last Republican Mayor was in 1956. New York City is now voting 80% Democrat.
